A winner in terms of drivability and cabin tech, the Ford Transit Connect fronts up in the face of stiff competition from compact vans, small vans. Complete with its distinctive front grille, the stylish Connect also offers car-like comfort and class.
The Ford Transit Connect is an economical choice, with a maximum fuel economy of 46.3 mpg.
Although compact, the Ford Transit Connect offers plenty of interior space. You can buy this panel van in either L1 or L2 lengths. You’ll find the loading process to be a sinch, with rear doors that open to a full 180 degrees. With the front seats up, the rear load length comes in at up to 1.9m, with the seats down, this raises as high as 2.1m in the L2 model.
Across all models, the maximum gross payload available ranges from 595kg to 961kg.
The first Transit Connect was rolled out in 2002. It was given a mid-cycle facelift, with the inclusion of the restyled front grille and deeper front bumper in 2009. The second generation was introduced in 2012, with an update following in 2019. The third-generation Tourneo Connect came out late in 2021.
